Pi-hole Monitor

Pi-hole® Monitor connects to your own Pi-hole® v6 instance and displays DNS statistics, queries, clients, domains, and important system information in a modern Android interface. Manage multiple servers, analyze network activity, and control key Pi-hole® functions on the go when secure remote access is configured.

IMPORTANT
Pi-hole® Monitor is not a DNS blocker and does not install a Pi-hole® server. You need your own reachable Pi-hole® v6 instance.

MANAGE PI-HOLE
Depending on the available feature set, important Pi-hole® areas can be managed directly in the app.
• Allow or block domains
• Edit allowlist and denylist entries
• Manage lists
• Organize clients and groups
• View network devices and DHCP leases
• Review system messages and FTL logs

CONTROL DNS FILTERING
Enable or disable DNS filtering directly from the app. Blocking can also be paused for a defined period, such as a few minutes or hours.

MULTIPLE PI-HOLE SERVERS

• Use local servers, VPN connections, and reverse proxies

OPTIONAL NOTIFICATIONS
Pi-hole® Monitor can check in the background for new Pi-hole® messages and component updates.
For faster event-based push notifications, the app optionally supports UnifiedPush. This requires a compatible distributor such as ntfy and the separately installable PiHoleWatcher component.

PRIVACY-FOCUSED
Pi-hole® Monitor contains no advertising and no general analytics or tracking SDKs. Pi-hole® data is transferred directly between your Android device and the systems you configure.
Optional features such as support, crash reporting, or UnifiedPush may use additional services and are only used when configured or consented to.

Suitable for private Pi-hole® operators, homelab users, administrators of small networks, users with multiple Pi-hole® instances, and anyone who wants to understand their DNS activity.

REQUIREMENTS
• Android 10 or newer
• Your own Pi-hole® v6 instance
• Network access to the Pi-hole® server
• Pi-hole® credentials
• Optional for push: PiHoleWatcher, UnifiedPush, and a compatible distributor
