EDIT: doesn't run anymore. The game is free, and you really don't need to buy a gold membership to beat it, but it's worth the $5 to get gold. Solid 20+ hours of gaming entertainment for just the basic gold membership, but don't save your gold for the super equipment. Either pay extra for more gold, or just use it on whatever you can't get with souls but can afford with the gold. It's missing one semi-major game element, though, which is the ability to change your attack speed.
