Flexa - Leipziger verbinden.

Flexa is an innovative transport service from Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe that offers almost door-to-door rides within Leipzig, connecting passengers to the nearest tram, bus, or train stations. Currently operational in the northern districts of Lindenthal, Breitenfeld, Wiederitzsch, and Seehausen, Flexa expanded eastward in 2021 to Holzhausen, Meusdorf, and Probstheida. The service runs under the MDV tariff and is available almost around the clock, improving regional mobility. Launched as a pilot test in October 2019, Flexa aims to complement existing public transport options with a flexible ride service. Developed in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute DS, the Flexa app facilitates a modular and continuously enhanced user experience during the testing phase, reflecting a commitment to optimizing urban transit in Leipzig.
