I am surprised that the App only works with the new SL AX. The update for the old version requires sending in the lamp and costs 40 EUR plus shipping. I got my lamp ~10 months before the app release. In case it is a) a hardware replacement, why can't the firmware be updated? b) a software update, why can't the firmware be updated via e.g. DFU by the customer?
