Groschen: Festkasse & Rückgeld

Groschen is the cash register for club events, beverage stands, and any kind of stall sales. Tap on the product, read the total, calculate the change – done. A cash register tool that any helper can understand in two minutes: no training, no mental arithmetic in the crowd.

Important: Groschen is not a point-of-sale system or a cash register. Deliberately designed without a tax office connection, without a TSE (Technical Security Equipment), and without complicated setup.

The change calculator is the heart of the app. You enter the amount, tap on the received bills and coins, and immediately see how much you'll get back. In pure calculator mode, you work without a shopping cart: enter the amount, calculate the change, reset, next customer. Perfect when things get busy at the bar.

As a beverage cash register, you create your product range with prices for each event. Beer, cola, cake, bratwurst – tap, fill the cart, done. The app does the calculations; you just give the change.

New: Tokens. Many clubs hand out tokens at the bar. Create colored tokens and assign them to your products – Groschen will show you which drink tokens to give and how many of each token to give when selling. Just the color and quantity are displayed so even a helper who's just stepped in understands.

New: Deposit. You enter the amounts for cups, glasses, or mugs once and assign them to the products; the price is added automatically. When a guest returns the cups, you record the return – if the return exceeds the deposit, the receipt becomes a payout. Optionally, each deposit type can have a token that the guest returns.

New and experimental: Receipt printing. Groschen sends receipts to a network printer via Wi-Fi – you can choose between a receipt with the total, one per product, or one per item. You set the header, contact details, and QR code yourself and see everything in the preview.

After the event, the statistics show which products were sold how often and what revenue they generated. Deposit information is displayed separately: issued, returned, and open. Sales are only totaled – Groschen deliberately does not save individual sales.

Do you already have a price list on paper? Point the camera at it, and Groschen will automatically recognize products and prices. Everything runs offline on your device: no account, no registration, no internet connection.
