The free ortho app from St. Josefs-Hospital Wiesbaden (JoHo) supports you and your family before, during and after your hip or knee joint replacement with the right information at the right time. The app has a variety of functions ready for you:

All the information you need about knee or hip replacement treatment is available to you in the Ortho app. The app reminds you when an important treatment appointment is due or new relevant information is available. In addition to general information about the hospital and the team, you will find out what to expect on the individual days of your treatment - from inpatient admission to the day of the operation to discharge.

Before your operation, you can get an overview of what to expect in the clinic. So that you are well prepared for your upcoming procedure, we have put together a few useful tips for you in our app. As a small planning aid, you will find, for example, a virtual hospital suitcase that will help you and your family to think of all the big and small things in advance. An operation often raises many questions. We answer the most frequently asked questions in our Ortho app in a practical FAQ.

After your surgery, you can use the app to track your personal progress and share important data with your doctor. Physiotherapeutic exercises that support you in your recovery can be called up at any time.

Immediately after starting the app, you can call up all information about treatment for knee or hip replacements. If you have already visited our office hours and have received a personal code, please follow the instructions to get started with your personal profile including your individual appointments.
