User Reviews

Reviewers often praise Pedometer for its simplicity, lack of ads, open-source nature, and low battery use. However, multiple users report unreliable step counts and bugs, including crashes, missing data, and days being grouped incorrectly. Others would like more history and features, and some are concerned that the app may no longer be actively supported.

Pros

  • Simple, uncluttered, and focused on step counting.
  • Ad-free, with no in-app purchases.
  • Open source.
  • Lightweight, non-intrusive, and generally uses little battery.

Cons

  • Step counts can be inaccurate or show extreme, negative, or otherwise incorrect totals.
  • Some users report crashes, the app stopping, or data being lost or misgrouped.
  • History and features are limited; users would like longer-term records, graphs, and more detail.
  • Several reviews raise concerns about the app no longer being maintained or supported.

Приложение теряет информацию при смене часовых поясов и глючит. Вот прямо сейчас у меня два четверга на экране. Это нормально?

Apparently after the update to 2.0, the app doesn't differentiate between days and the last 4-5 days are clumped into one, as in it currently is showing that I walked around 77k steps, but in reality it should be around 18-20 for today and the other days after the update. Edit: Did an export to see if the data is there. Last three days are showing 0 steps recorded, that is after the update. Old data is fine.
