Museum Isny

This app is the digital companion for the new permanent exhibition of the Municipal Museum in Isny ​​Castle.
Exciting topics from Isny's city history from the Romans to the Corona pandemic can be discovered. In the themed rooms, questions such as “Who has which image of the city?” or “Which objects represent successful winter sports?” are clearly answered. What makes Isny ​​special, however, are the people who live or have lived here. History emerges from the individual stories, memories and objects of the people of Isny ​​- without claiming to be complete, but lively and distinctive.
The special thing about this app is that it allows inconspicuous objects to “tell a story”. Families can also find eight Isny ​​personalities in the TRUE SEARCH.
The app is based on beacon technology. A beacon is a small Bluetooth radio transmitter that automatically connects to the smartphone.
Therefore: Please activate the Bluetooth setting!
When you get close to the beacon, there is a reaction: videos, original sounds, photos, newspaper articles, and illustrations add another level of content. The new permanent exhibition is being digitally expanded. Particularly valuable and climate- and light-sensitive objects from private ownership or the museum depot can be made easily accessible in this way. Surprising, entertaining and informative.
