ID-Logics

ID-Logics is a versatile species identification Chrome extension designed to make discovering and determining plant and animal species easy for everyone. Developed with input from educators, nature conservationists, and students, it covers groups like mussels, snails, bumblebees, and spring bloomers, with more groups coming soon.

The app features an intelligent internal logic system that asks targeted questions about species characteristics, leading to quick and accurate identification. Its user-friendly design offers interactivity, error tolerance, and helpful short films to assist users. ID-Logics works offline on Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android, allowing users to explore nature anywhere. Additional features include saving identified species with GPS data and photos for reporting and further study. Created by experts at the University of Bamberg and implemented by INITREE Software GmbH, ID-Logics advances species knowledge and outdoor discovery.
