Y2K Camera: Flashwell Digicam

Flashwell is a Y2K camera that shoots live: point, tap, and your photo looks like it came off a cheap digicam from 2004. The look is applied in real time while you frame the shot, not after the fact in an editor.

Every one of the 12 cameras has its own character: CCD sensor noise, soft bloom around highlights, a colour cast, vignette, a hard on-camera flash look and the classic orange date stamp. Shoot in 4:3, 3:2, 1:1 or 16:9, with the front or rear camera, a 3 or 10 second self-timer and a screen flash for selfies.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a camera.
2. Frame your shot in the live view and tap the shutter. Switch on the flash look for that harsh party-snapshot style.
3. Save it or share it.

Whether you want a retro camera feel for a night out, a vintage camera style for your portraits or a ccd camera look for old photos from your gallery, Flashwell turns your phone into a digicam.

Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription, the yearly plan with a 3-day free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled in Google Play at any time.
