h-ema

What is h-ema?

h-ema is a free app from Kindernetzwerk e.V. and represents a platform for study participation. h-ema is currently being used in two studies: in the hear study and in a sub-study in the PedSupport project.


How does h-ema work?

The app sends you notifications (push messages) to your smartphone once a week to remind you to take part in the weekly short survey. The notifications contain a link to the survey, where you can answer short questions about your current situation. Each time you are approached via the app, you can decide whether to participate and provide information or decline the request.

Notifications: You can set the time of notifications individually so that they fit well into your everyday life.

Results overview: You can view your answers at different times in your profile.

Digital diary: If you wish, you can record your thoughts in a diary and decide for yourself whether you want to share the entries with the study team or keep them for yourself.

Chat with the study team: You can contact the study team at any time via the app if you have any questions or concerns.
