activeTAN is the secure, modern TAN procedure for your online banking. With the activeTAN app, you can conveniently approve orders and transactions on your smartphone.

The fast data transfer via QR code enables simple two-factor authentication that works anywhere and anytime.

The activeTAN app shows order data (e.g. IBAN and amount) on your independent smartphone and generates a TAN for this. This TAN can only be used for the displayed transaction. Your bank only executes the order with this TAN, so your account remains optimally protected.

To activate the activeTAN procedure for your personal online banking access, you need an activation letter in addition to this app. You can request the activeTAN activation letter at any time in online banking under the menu item “activeTAN administration”.
