TFK

TFK is a free Chrome extension designed to help users report and track wild animal fatalities, such as deer, wild boar, hares, hedgehogs, and birds of prey, caused by road traffic and other hazards. By collecting GPS-enabled data on wildlife casualties, TFK allows hunters, conservationists, and citizens to fill knowledge gaps regarding dangerous road sections and other risk sites.

This extension connects to the Tierfund Cadastre platform, where data is recorded and analyzed to identify areas with high wildlife death rates and to initiate protective measures. Registration is free and easy, enabling everyone to contribute to wildlife conservation efforts. Whether documenting roadkill near wind turbines, fences, or roads, TFK empowers users to protect endangered species and improve wildlife safety through community-driven data collection and mapping.
