DB Signale

This app for smartphones and tablets is aimed at railway drivers, trainees in railway transport and those interested in railways to learn and look up the railway signals from the DB Group's RiL 301 and DV 301. In addition, the app also offers a quiz function with which you can test your knowledge.

Module: Signal book

The app's reference work corresponds to the structure and structure of the printed version of RiL 301 (including contents of DV 301 "Scope of application in the area of ​​the former Reichsbahn"). Within this functional area of ​​the app, individual signals from the rail transport sector can be searched for meaning and function. In addition, signals can be saved as “favorites” to make them easier to find later, for example, or questions can be discussed with other users using a comment function.

Module: Learning

With the app's learning module you can deepen your signal knowledge with over 600 questions about signal meaning, description, images and terms. Learning with the app is supported by more than 300 digitized and partly animated signal images and acoustic sound signals. In addition, over 200 tips help answer the questions.

Module: Quiz

Knowledge can be tested in the quiz module. To do this, as many questions as possible must be answered within a certain time. The more questions are answered in the selected time, the higher the score.
