We accompany you and your child on their journey to discovering new foods! Our ExpeditionEssen app and the online therapy program of the same name support caregivers of children with ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder) in managing their daily eating habits. We want to provide you, as a caregiver, with methods to improve the amount and variety of food your child eats. Over a period of 12 weeks, we will show you how to integrate new foods into your daily routine and thus improve your child's health. Our app offers a variety of features, such as exciting learning courses with further information about the disease, a food diary, and online therapy sessions. The program's content is modeled on the treatment recommendations for ARFID.

Learn tips and tricks for dealing with ARFID

Our learning courses help you learn more about the disease, its symptoms, and treatment. We also provide you with a planner with tasks that you can complete together with your child. These contain tips and tricks that you can integrate step by step into your daily routine and actively try out.

Keep a food diary and track your progress

In our food diary and on regular forms, you record the foods you eat. At the same time, you describe to us in weekly recaps what worked well in the past week and where difficulties arose. This allows you to track and record your own journey.

Exchange ideas with our therapists

You can also share your progress, setbacks, and questions personally with study therapists. In online therapy sessions, we will discuss current developments with you and your child and try to better understand your situation. We also use this exchange to redefine or adjust goals.
