Features & Capabilities

ServerCtrl is a user-friendly Chrome extension designed to simplify server management. While it doesn't allow server creation, it provides powerful features to control an existing server seamlessly. Users can monitor system health metrics such as CPU and RAM usage to keep their servers running optimally.

The extension also enables real-time player management — view online players and take actions like kicking, banning, or granting operator status with just a click. Additionally, ServerCtrl includes a fully functional console for executing commands directly. To use this app, a compatible Spigot plugin must be installed, which is available at the official Spigot resource page.

User Reviews

Users appreciate ServerCtrl for enabling remote control of Minecraft servers with a simple interface and good developer support, especially for Java Edition servers. However, multiple reviews mention the inability to edit plugin configs in-app, annoying ads without a removal option, and compatibility issues with certain server types like Pocketmine-MP and Bedrock. Connection problems and feature limitations, such as the console interface, are also common complaints.
Pros
  • Allows remote control of Minecraft servers effectively.
  • Simple and user-friendly interface.
  • Responsive developer support via Discord.
  • Works well with certain server types like Nukkit and supports Minecraft Java Edition servers.
Cons
  • Cannot edit plugin configurations within the app.
  • Frequent and intrusive ads with no option to remove via payment.
  • Compatibility issues with some server types, notably Pocketmine-MP and Bedrock Edition servers.
  • Connection problems such as invalid IP or login failures.
  • Limited features like lack of color coding in console and auto-scrolling control.

Great app. Let's you control your server wherever you are, if something isn't working right you can easily fix it. However, you can't edit the plugin's config from the app which can be annoying in some cases. The date format in the log is also not in the american format which is slightly annoying too. I'd love if there was an option per account to swap it between formats.

Great app. I just wish there was a way to pay to remove ads. I'm not a fan of it popping up when I log in or the bottom bumper. I would rather pay to get rid of them all together. My only complaint
