The Rescue Key

The Rescue Key connects emergency response organizations, incidents, and digital locks in a secure mobile application.

The app is designed for organizations whose accounts have been pre-provided by The Rescue Key or the respective organization. After logging in, users only see the data and functions assigned to their organization and role.

ROLE-BASED ACCESS

Administrators manage the areas unlocked for their organization. Operators handle operational incident workflows. Users only see the content and actions assigned to them. The actual available functions are enabled server-side.

SECURITY

Session data is securely stored on the device. Sensitive access information does not appear in overview lists and is only displayed after a second two-factor authentication confirmation. The display ends automatically. Communication with the service is encrypted.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Use requires an externally provided organizational account, an internet connection, and enabled two-factor authentication. Accounts cannot be created or products purchased within the app. Pairing a Nuki or Igloohome lock may also require an account with the respective provider.

The Rescue Key does not replace control center, alert, or emergency call systems. In an acute emergency, contact your local emergency services and follow your organization's procedures.
