aktuator helps you structure your business—from the initial business idea through incorporation to ongoing operations. It's not a one-size-fits-all project management tool, but rather a tool specifically designed for the needs of startups and small businesses.
Three project phases:
Your project progresses through the phases of idea, incorporation, and operations. In each phase, aktuator generates suitable task packages tailored to your legal structure. The app supports, among others, GmbH (limited liability company), UG (entrepreneurial company), sole proprietorships, freelancers, GbR (general partnership), OHG (commercial partnership), KG (limited partnership), associations, and other legal forms.
Over 100 task templates with deadlines:
Tax registration, business registration, commercial register entry, opening balance sheet, VAT return, annual financial statements, ongoing bookkeeping, GoBD (Principles for the Proper Keeping and Use of Books, Records and Documents in Electronic Form) documentation—aktuator knows the obligations for each legal form and business phase. Tasks include due dates and reminders. Recurring obligations such as monthly bookkeeping or quarterly VAT returns are automatically created.
Interviews adapt the tasks to your situation: small business regulations, VAT exemption, tax advisor, employees, international business—the app takes most special circumstances into account and filters out irrelevant tasks.
Task Management:
Create your own tasks with subtasks, due dates, reminders, and categories. Export overviews as PDFs.
Strategic Planning and OKRs:
Utilize Integrated Performance Management (IPM) for long-term strategy: vision, strategy, balanced scorecard, and OKRs (Objectives & Key Results). Define measurable goals, link them hierarchically, and evaluate your progress quarterly. Ideal for companies that want to plan beyond day-to-day operations.
Teamwork and Roles: Invite team members via email and assign roles: Admin, Management, Controlling, or Standard. Assign tasks to individuals and track progress in the activity log. All changes are synchronized in real time.
Local Data Storage, Cloud Sync Optional:
All data is stored encrypted on your device. Cloud sync is available via subscription for use on multiple devices or within a team.
