HOW IT WORKS
BarCount uses the Widmark model combined with the Watson formula to estimate your blood alcohol concentration (BAC). Based on your age, weight, height, and gender, the app calculates your total body water and tracks how your BAC changes over time as you log drinks throughout the evening.

QUICK LOGGING
Your favorite drinks are always just one tap away. Choose from categories like beer, wine, cocktails, shots, or longdrinks. You can also create custom drinks with any volume and alcohol percentage – perfect for craft cocktails or regional specialties.

FOOD MODE
Had something to eat? The food mode adjusts the absorption calculation to account for slower alcohol uptake. Choose between none, light, or good food intake to get a more accurate estimate.

SOBER TIME ESTIMATE
BarCount doesn't just show your current BAC – it also estimates when you'll be back at 0.0, accounting for drinks still being absorbed. The calculation considers ongoing absorption, not just elimination, so the estimate stays accurate even right after drinking.

TIMELINE & COST OVERVIEW
Every drink is logged chronologically with timestamp, volume, and alcohol content. At the end of the night, you know exactly what you had – no more guessing what you owe at the bar.

NOTIFICATIONS
Set a BAC threshold and get notified when your estimated level drops below it. Useful if you want to know when you're approaching sobriety.
