Under the motto "Save food. Help people," volunteers collect food from markets and bakeries that would otherwise be destroyed. These items are then quality-checked and distributed to people affected by poverty, providing them with additional food supplies. Their work makes an important contribution to climate protection, as food waste is not only a tremendous waste of resources, but also has a major impact on our climate. The Tafel app provides general information about our non-profit organization and helps our employees better organize their Tafel work and communicate with each other.
