To everyone that was having a hard time with purchasing through Best Buy, here is what you do: CHECK OUT AS GUEST. WHEN ACIMA ASKS YOU TO SIGN INTO YOUR BEST BUY ACCOUNT, STILL PRESS CHECK OUT AS GUEST. TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR VIRTUAL CARD BECAUSE WHEN YOU CLOSE IT, IT'LL BE GONE FOREVER. That is it, do not sign in to your Best Buy account and do not add anything to your purchase after it has been paid for. My mother and I were having a lengthy two day battle with Acima, where it tried to charge her personal card for $1100 and then it took $50 off her card but never placed the order. It was a very frustrating process. Also the first initial payment is $75, we were told something lower, but it is what it is. Terrible app, they need to work with Best Buy a bit better because it seems like an issue with both Acima and Best Buy. They need to become affiliated with Best Buy. | |
