en I have no problem from stores like Walmart or Kohls, but I have NEVER gotten my points from BOOKING.COM unless I questioned it. I booked once, questioned no points, and they finally gave me my points. I booked again in July and they have denied my points even though they know I stayed ($1000 hotel bill). Here is the explanation I got.... In your case although you started the purchase while logged in to your eShopping account, the merchant has indicated that the last touch before you completed this transaction was not https://www.aadvantageeshopping.com and therefore the commission for this order did not track back to your eShopping account. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT "the last touch before you completed this transaction was not https://www.aadvantageeshopping.com" MEANS!! It seems they can say anything and there is no recourse!! There seems to be a trend/theme running through the comments FROM OTHERS... --The button works about 20% of the time -- and I always follow the proper steps. The other 80% of the time I need to contact customer service about missing transactions or missing miles. --Buyer Beware: While some stores validate points immediately, other stores like Coach Outlet are very slow and don't honor points even when you follow the rules provided --I've had this installed for a long time. It seems to work for low $ transactions really well. When there's a bonus or today's 3.5 miles for Apple orders, which I transaction 2, it doesn't work. It's either mysterious in how it functions or it isn't truthful. --THIS ISSUE/COMMENT SOUNDS JUST LIKE MINE! the worst service ever. I have the button, I do not use adblocker, I do all the steps right, and still half of the transactions do not post miles. The latest 2 cases are the top - i got confirmation that points are tracked, but were not assigned to my account after finishing hotel stay. The support confirmed that the transaction was fulfilled, but most likely because it's high level point item, they seek additional approval from the merchant, which is pending for over a month. The other case (viator) - confirmed I did the transaction, but apparently the connection got interrupted while paying, so now points (again high level point item) were not awarded. I have to claim at least 50% of the transactions manually. Ridiculous.

en Awful!!! They do not honor going through their service. I have to chase them EVERY time I get a hotel through IHG. Been telling them for 3 years. They don't do anything and just refuse me requests - even though their system shows I visited that site through their portal on the day in question. You cannot question the transaction until 15 days afterwards and then it is too late to confirm you actually performed the transaction through their portal. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

en Nice to get the extra miles... BUT, the miles available for each store is misleading. It frequently says "Up to 5 time miles...". When you check, the 5x only applies to one category on the site. Everything else may be 1x or less. Also, as you maneuver around a site, the miles premium sometimes drops off. But overall a nice perk.

en I have been using this button for several years -- since it was introduced. There few been limited improvements over the years. The button works about 20% of the time -- and I always follow the proper steps. The other 80% of the time I need to contact customer service about missing transactions or missing miles. And then, I need to wait weeks or even months until the points are awarded. A few times, the points were never awarded, and the explanation as to why was ridiculous / unacceptable. I go out of my way to make purchases through the portal but it is incredibly frustrating. Diminishing returns at best.

en I love this extension WHEN it works. I do everything right (not switching off the page, verifying that it's active, etc) and it doesn't recognize the completed transactions. Needs to be more robust. Otherwise, it's very frustrating.

en I love being notified of the opportunity to earn miles whenever I am online. I have earned significantly more miles by staying aware with the button. Also, I order through AAdvantage for curbside pickup so it is even easier. I love it and use it several times a week
