Users praise Brainwave Studio for its broad brainwave preset catalog and easy, controllable sound mixing with decent audio quality. However, the app suffers from recurring audio pauses that disrupt relaxation, and ads often obstruct the bottom controls and layout. Orientation problems (no landscape support on some versions and tilt limitations) also hamper use, especially in bed. Some wish for help/guide and saving/loading mixes, but primarily the stability and UX annoyances mar the experience.
