| 2025-01-30 |  | | Works well, until you have to pay a PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP subscription to get any actual functionaliy. They already show you ads after doing basic stuff, so they are really trying to suck the money off of you. I get you need to support development, but some of the features that they pay wall really shouldn't be. |
| 2025-01-29 |  | | I understand that some new features are now behind a subscription, but why is the app showing upselling pop-up ads to premium users during normal usage? Sure, show them when we try to enable those features, but displaying them during normal usage is an insult to those of us who paid premium. Edit: it happened while opening a blocked website repeatedly with Samsung internet (it remembered the tab) however I can't reproduce it again so I'm restoring the original score. Thanks. |
| 2025-01-24 |  | | The app is effective but you can uninstall it and it's too easy to taunt and use the blocked apps. Another suggestion: You should give to option to unlock an app in case of emergency, for example, I activated the strict mode and I had Google blocked, and I wasn't able to use it when I really needed to do so. Thanks for the app! |
| 2025-01-20 |  | | This has been perhaps the most effective thing I've added to work towards stopping some bad habits. What makes it stand out is that it's well thought out. Stand out features are "strict mode" and being able to set allow lists of apps (instead of just block lists). It is exactly what I needed it to be. |
| 2024-12-31 |  | | Newest update had broken app. Before this newest update, if an app tried to auto-reopen itself after getting blocked, AppBlock would end the loop after four or five attempts by opening itself. Now that loop goes infinitely, resulting in the need to hard. Restart your phone if you want to use it. I've had to do this three times in 2 days now. |

However this app can be disabled by booting the phone into safe mode, and disabling it from there which is frustrating. I know another app disables the ability to restart the phone at all. It would be great to have the feature implemented! |

I can have my wife set the pin and then there is no way to turn off the blocking unless she puts in the pin or the schedule is done |
| 2024-12-10 |  | | Great app! 2 things I would change though: even if strict mode is active, I should always be allowed to increase my restrictions, but never reduce. I.e. if my current window is 9am-5pm, I can extend it to 6pm, or I can add extra apps I want blocked, etc.... also, it would be nice to be able to add multiple restricted area locations to one schedule. I travel a lot, and setting multiple hotel locations without creating duplicate schedules would be useful |

I believe that most of the problems mentioned in bad reviews are self-inflicted / user error problems. I really enjoy this app. It has helped improve my productivity, and the subscription is reasonably priced. Thank you for creating such a helpful app😁 |
| 2024-11-27 |  | | I like the the function of this app. It definitely helps me stay on top of my phone usage. I like the strict mode that makes it so I can't turn it off, however, it's really annoying that you can't make the strict mode apply to only certain schedules. It'd be better if I could choose specific ones that are strict and others that I can still pause, but as is, if strict mode is on for any schedule, it's on for all of them and you can't pause or edit the others. |
