This app includes several interactive elements to provide children and their caregivers with real-time symptom management support. Comprehensive educational materials regarding cancer and its treatment side effects, including possible symptoms, functional limitations, and psychological responses. Interactive videos, such as pursed-lip breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, yoga, and physical activity will be included in the app as non-pharmacological approaches to enable the children to cope with physical and psychological symptoms. In addition, personalized support will be provided by a trained nurse for each child– caregiver dyad and via a chatbot to promote symptom management and control.
