Ctrl-F Plus: Ctrl + F Search Across All Tabs

Ctrl-F Plus enables cross-tab search functionality in a browser window by extending the browser's native Ctrl + F Find Feature (Cmd + F on Mac). Now you can find a specific word or phrase on any of your browser tabs without having to search each tab separately.

⌨ KEYBOARD SHORTCUT

The shortcut is ready to use as soon as you install Ctrl-F Plus:

• Windows and Linux: Ctrl + Shift + F
• Mac: Ctrl + Shift + F (the Control key)

Prefer a different shortcut, like ⌘ + Shift + F on Mac? You can change it anytime:

1. Click the menu button (☰) and choose "Add-ons and themes".
2. Select "Extensions" in the sidebar.
3. Click the gear icon (⚙) and choose "Manage Extension Shortcuts".
4. Find "Ctrl-F Plus" and enter the shortcut you want.

Tip: to keep the Ctrl-F Plus icon visible, click the extensions (puzzle piece) button in the toolbar, right-click "Ctrl-F Plus", and choose "Pin to Toolbar".

🔒 PRIVACY

Ctrl-F Plus collects no data. Searching happens entirely inside your browser, and nothing you search for ever leaves it.
