Crossy Chicken

Crossy Chicken is a cheerful lane-crossing arcade game about timing, courage, and one round yellow chicken with a bright red comb. Hop across grassy meadows and busy asphalt roads, dodge moving traffic, collect tasty pickups, and clear each level's goals before you step onto the checkered finish. Short sessions fit a break; longer runs take you through a fifteen-level campaign that ends at the Ultimate stage.

HOW TO PLAY
Move with the on-screen D-pad or keyboard-friendly taps: hop forward to climb lanes, slide left or right to dodge, and step carefully when cars fill the road. Forward hops raise your score; sideways moves help you weave between vehicles of different lengths. Portrait layouts keep controls centered at the bottom; wide landscape screens place the full D-pad in a side corner so the play board stays square and readable. In Settings you can move those controls to the left or right edge to match how you hold the device.

LEVEL GOALS AND PICKUPS
Every stage lists clear objectives such as crossing a number of roads, collecting worms, gathering coins, or picking up corn. Extra snacks—crickets, beetles, and rare diamonds—add score bursts when you find them on the grass. Extra-life hearts can restore a heart when the run gets rough. Rocks and trees block tiles, so plan a path around obstacles instead of rushing blindly into traffic.

TRAFFIC AND RISK
Roads carry sports cars, compact city cars, hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs, and long trucks. Rush lanes feel faster and denser; slower lanes give you a breath between hops. When a car hits the chicken, a collision popup shows what you met and freezes that crash lane while the rest of traffic keeps moving—then you continue with one fewer life, or end the run when hearts are gone. Reach the finish only after objectives are complete; the victory screen celebrates with the chicken and a finish flag.

PROGRESSION
Start with a handful of lives and climb from early meadows to denser late levels. Clearing a stage unlocks the next. Local high scores and session totals track how far you hopped. A gallery unlocks cars, pickups, and scenery as you encounter them in play, so collecting feels like filling a scrapbook of the roadside world.

HOME, SETTINGS, AND AUDIO
From the home screen open Play, Gallery, Leaderboard, or Settings. Toggle sound effects and music, set music volume, enter a player name for the leaderboard, and switch among eight languages: English, Vietnamese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Hindi, and French. Music starts after your first gesture so the experience stays polite on shared devices.

LOOK AND FEEL
Art matches the app icon: a soft, round egg-shaped chick with shiny oval eyes—not blocky toys. Vehicles, trees, rocks, flowers, and pickups draw from a sprite atlas so the world stays consistent on phone and tablet. The Canvas fills the whole screen and adapts to portrait or landscape without forcing a rotate-device gate. Marketing screenshots and store images mirror the same playful palette you see in the app.
