2025-01-27	Ch*****	This app is great. Has no bots, the creator is constantly making updates and improving the user experience. There's no ads, not bought out by politicians, no ridiculous algorithms. It's a breath of fresh air for a social media app, instead of all the others that try to line their pockets by bending to the will of people who want to control what content is out there. Anyone looking to leave that cesspool Facebook or X I highly recommend this app

A safe, welcoming place due to a mature community that do not tolerate trolling, attacks or spreading disinformation. Mute feature available to tune out specific people. Free option available but highly recommend you go PRO for a small monthly fee. They have a cool feature where you can watch movies with other people, chatting at the same time! Highly recommend give this social media platform a try

2024-11-18	Tr*****	May not be the best app if you're neuro-spicy. It can be overwhelming, and while they expect you to curate your own experience, there are times when doing so is impossible. The user guide is great....if people paid attention to it. Don't make the mistake of suggesting people actually follow the recommendations in there unless you're ready to be told everything is your responsbility because people can't be bothered to use content warnings or hashtags so you can filter out undesirable content.

The app is a useful complement to the superior web interface and very handy when you're trying to kill some time while waiting for somebody or something. CoSo as it's known to its users is different from X, threads, BlueShk, etc. - it doesn't allow ads, has no algorithm, and blocks trolls from 7 unfriendly countries. You can't use it to promote your e-commerce site. It's a breath of fresh air!

The firehouse shows me what the community is talking about or I can just catch up on what my friends are sharing. I use the filters to cut down on the occasional repetitive posts when something trends. The creator is very active, very involved and tolerated no bs which means no spammy, disinfo.

People are respectful. That's important to me, being able to disagree without hateful discourse. I've been off Twitter (X) for a very long time. That's no longer a site for rational people. I plan on being a member of CoSo for a long time.

2024-06-02	Ci*****	Although I usually use Counter Social on my computer (I find typing easier on the computer) I have the app on my phone as well and haven't haven't had any problems with it. I did find it a little confusing on how to do things at first, but if I ever couldn't figure something out, I'd just ask and get answers from other users.

A place with no algorithms and one that you can customize to suit your social networking needs. No hate. No noise. No ads. 2023-09-01	Ro*****	When I found Counter Social, I knew I'd found my new home on the web. After trying pretty much everything, from Tribel to Mastodon, looking for a Twitter replacement. There are a lot of really brilliant and funny people in the CoSo community, and it is just big enough to keep you entertained but small enough to feel like home. I have never had a problem with either the phone app or the web app, except for needing to turn off ad blocker (there are no ads) to make the web app fully functional.👍

2023-04-07	Ho*****	I came over to this app a year ago after the muskrat decided to destroy the dead bird and I have had NO complaints at all! The app is easy to use, just took a week or so to retrain my brain from the doomscrolling I did on the other site, there are no algorithms so my info stays my info., and it is a great place to connect, share music, hobbies, photos, etc. Ignore ALL the magas who say otherwise, they have no idea what they're talking about! Highly recommend!
