Countdown Timer

Countdown Timer is a lightweight Chrome extension that lets you create unlimited countdowns to dates you choose. Click the extension icon, enter a date, and watch the timer count down to the start of that day; each timer is displayed as a simple pie-chart on the icon for quick progress checks.

You can manage as many timers as you want. Completed timers auto-delete after finishing to keep clutter down. When no timers exist, the extension defaults to counting down to the next year, and dates in the past are automatically cleared to ensure meaningful countdowns.
