Costloop – Subscription Scanner Firefox

Costloop – Subscription Scanner

Find recurring subscriptions from Gmail and Outlook billing emails, review them before importing into CostLoop, and identify subscriptions you may no longer use.

Features & Capabilities

CostLoop – Email Scanner helps you find recurring subscriptions and payments by reviewing billing emails from Gmail and Outlook.

The extension looks for receipts, invoices, renewal notices, and payment confirmations that may indicate an active subscription. Detected subscriptions are shown for review before anything is imported into CostLoop.

You can review and correct details such as:

  • Merchant or service name
  • Price and currency
  • Billing cycle
  • Renewal date
  • Website

Connect your Gmail or Outlook account and scan recent billing emails for recurring charges. CostLoop helps identify subscriptions that may otherwise be easy to forget.

Nothing is automatically imported. You choose which detected subscriptions you want to add to your CostLoop account.

CostLoop can also help you understand whether you are still using the subscriptions you pay for.

The optional Usage Monitor compares your recent Firefox browsing history locally with websites associated with subscriptions in your CostLoop account.

The browser-history scan takes place in Firefox. Raw browsing history, unrelated URLs, and page titles are not sent to CostLoop.

CostLoop is designed to use only the information needed to detect and manage subscriptions.

Email content is processed during the scan to identify potential subscription receipts and billing information. Raw email bodies are not stored by CostLoop.

Only subscription information you approve is imported into your CostLoop account.

CostLoop does not sell user data.

Free users can preview up to 5 detected subscriptions and scan a limited email history period.

Pro and Business plans unlock all detected results and longer scanning periods.

A CostLoop account and a connected Gmail or Outlook account are required to use email scanning.
