Features & Capabilities

This addon will be mostly useless for most people, I created and uploaded it for personal use. If you're curious why I am doing this instead of just pressing the "filter by hash" button is because I made a script that given a hash and some parameters generates all the filters I want (not just hiding but also different highlights, who does it apply to, etc), making sure that there is no clash between filters (eg a filter that hides it and a filter that brings it on top) I honestly can't think of any other reason why you'd want to use this addon.

Is CopyHash Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

CopyHash requires very minimum permissions.

Risk impact analysis details
  • High Allows reading and modifying clipboard content, which can be sensitive, posing a moderate privacy risk.
