Copy the rendered innerText of a selected DOM node from the Inspector sidebar

Features & Capabilities

Adds an "innerText" tab to the Firefox DevTools Inspector sidebar showing the rendered text of the currently selected DOM node.

How to use:

  1. Open DevTools (F12) → Inspector tab
  2. Click a node in the DOM tree
  3. Switch to the "innerText" tab in the right sidebar
  4. Click Copy innerText to copy the rendered text to clipboard

The display updates automatically as you select different nodes.

Use cases:

  • Copy product listings from shopping sites (Amazon, etc.)
  • Extract data from tables, error logs, code blocks
  • Capture any rendered content that's tedious to select manually

Privacy: This extension collects NO data. It only reads innerText from within DevTools and copies to clipboard. No network requests, no analytics, no tracking.
