CartCalc is a handy utility designed to help users monitor their budget while shopping at the supermarket. The app turns your smartphone's camera into a smart scanner capable of reading prices directly from shelf tags.

• OCR Price Recognition: Using optical character recognition (ML Kit) technology, CartCalc detects prices in the camera's view and allows you to add them to your cart with a single tap, eliminating the need to manually enter them.
• Cart Management: Users can view the list of added products at any time, change quantities (increasing or decreasing the number of items), or remove unwanted items.
• Real-Time Total Calculation: The app automatically adds the prices of all products in the cart, displaying the updated total instantly at the bottom of the screen.
• Smart Filter: The software is optimized to recognize the numerical values ​​associated with prices, making it easy to distinguish between the product price and other numbers on labels.
Privacy and Security:
Your privacy is fundamental. CartCalc processes camera images exclusively locally on your device to extract text information. No images are saved to your phone's memory or sent to external servers or third parties. Access to the camera is required only for the price scanning function.
Instructions:
1. Open the app and point to the price tag of a product.
2. Once the price appears on the screen, press the "Add" button to add it to your cart.
3. If necessary, use the + and - buttons in the list below to adjust the quantity of each item.
4. Check the total shown in the bottom banner to always keep track of your shopping costs before reaching the checkout.
