XCSoar JET is a tactical glide computer and a soft-fork of the original XCSoar, designed for cross-country gliding and paramotor pilots who need advanced navigation, task planning, and flight data tools. It preserves 100% of XCSoar features while adding tailored enhancements such as extra infobox combinations (V GND/TAS, Baro/GPS), JETProvider support for OGN traffic over the internet, Skysight overlay integration, improved trail and zoom controls, fuel burn calculations for PPG, QR task guidance, and multiple experimental infobox widgets.

Important update: since version 7.43_JET_1.28 your data is stored at /Android/media/com.zinuzoid.xcsoar_jet (no special Shizuku or /Android/data access needed). To migrate existing data: backup, uninstall, reinstall, then restore your backup to /Android/media/com.zinuzoid.xcsoar_jet. XCSoar JET is rebased to XCSoar 7.43 with ongoing fixes and feature polish for serious soaring pilots and XC enthusiasts.

Users consistently praise the SkySight integration and other new features, and report good flight performance when the app runs. Repeated issues are Android data-folder permission problems that prevent loading maps/airspace files, crashes or instability on some devices or during flights, and installation conflicts with the original XCSoar requiring uninstall to update.

Recent reviews

2nd flight with it yesterday and it worked perfectly. No crashes for 6 1/2 hours, 535km. Upgraded to 5stars. Sorry can't send log file from 1st flight as it was overwritten. Can you send me e-mail contact, I have suggestions/comments. Day 3 and it crashed again about an hour and a half into the flight.

Nice app, but I struggle to put my cup, airspace and map files into the app-folder. It is in /android/data instead of /android/media (as in the original xcsoar). I don't have permission in /android/data (Stefly Nav, Android 11)
