fromo is a local-first tool for preparing a document photo before you submit or print it. Choose a supported format, take a new photo or open one from your device, then create a document JPEG and a 4×6 print sheet.

Your photo is processed on your device. No account, cloud upload, advertising, or human review is used.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Choose a document format for the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Korea, Japan, or set a custom size.
• Take a photo or choose one with the Android system picker.
• Clean the background with on-device portrait segmentation. Choose white, soft gray, or keep the original background.
• Use a face-based starting position, then move, scale, rotate, or reset the photo yourself.
• Review face, frame, background, and output in one clear readiness view.
• Create a high-quality document JPEG, a repeated 4×6 print-sheet JPEG, or both.
• Keep projects in app-private storage until you explicitly save or share a copy.

fromo shows guidance such as “Looks good”, “Adjust”, and “Check before submitting”. It does not approve, certify, or guarantee acceptance by any government agency, embassy, printer, or other receiving organization. Check the latest requirements from the organization that will receive your photo.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

fromo processes photos, masks, and exports on your device. It does not send your photo to a fromo server. Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a new photo. Saving or sharing is always your choice; a saved copy can then be handled by your gallery, backup provider, or the app you choose to share with.

Delete a project in My photos to remove the original, mask, previews, and exports stored by fromo. Copies previously saved to your device remain in your gallery until you delete them there.
