IMPORTANT — USE OF ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE API
Zen Phone Lock uses Android's AccessibilityService API. This is the app's core feature: without it, the app cannot detect or block distracting apps. With your consent, it is used only to:
• Detect which app or screen is open (including the home screen and Recent apps) during a focus session you started: opening an app you didn't allow locks your phone, and unlocking brings you back to Zen Phone Lock.
• Read Chrome's address bar (never page content), to block adult websites and, in Zen Focus Lock, sites that aren't study or work related.
• Detect YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels, so short-form video stays blocked even when the rest of the app is allowed.
• Detect and close a blocked app's floating (Picture-in-Picture) video window.
All of this is processed on your device and discarded immediately. Zen Phone Lock does NOT collect, store, or share any data read through the AccessibilityService API, and never reads passwords or messages. Before you turn the permission on, the app shows a clear disclosure and asks for your consent ("Agree" / "No thanks"). You can turn it off in Android Settings → Accessibility.
Zen Phone Lock also uses Device admin (lock-screen only) to lock your screen — it never wipes data or sets a password.

3 FOCUS MODES
• Zen Focus Lock — pick the apps that stay open; everything else, including the home screen, is blocked for the session you set. Perfect for studying and work.
• Complete Lock — the strictest mode. Your whole phone locks when you start. Every unlock shows a popup — close it and the phone locks again. Only incoming calls and emergency calling work. From the popup, choose 5 minutes of access (one ad), 20 ads, or a small payment to end the session. Great for sleep and a real digital detox.
• Zen Balance — everything works normally except the apps you mark as distracting, which get a per-session time limit.

WHAT YOU GET
• App blocker: block social media, games, shopping and streaming apps during focus sessions.
• YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels blocker: keep short-form video out of your study time.
• Website blocking in Chrome: adult sites always blocked; in Zen Focus Lock, non-study sites too.
• Scheduled locks: start a mode automatically at the same time each day or week (for example 10 PM to 7 AM).
• Presets: save Study, Work or Sleep setups and start them with one tap.
• Notification control: hold back other apps' notifications during a session (with Notification access); calls, alarms and emergency alerts always come through.
• Focus stats: session history, total focus time, streaks and achievements.

BUILT-IN GUARDRAILS
Incoming calls, emergency calling and Android Settings always stay reachable, in every mode. Settings and uninstalling are never blocked — you'll only see a reminder that leaving ends your session and breaks your streak.
