Streetscape by ZenMurmur

Streetscape is an ambient visual app where city, sound, and language quietly dissolve into one another.

Monochrome city photographs slowly appear and fade, and your own words descend across the screen. The words eventually break apart — letters separating from meaning. What remains is the city, the sound, and the presence of letters reduced to pure form.

This is not a photo book to view.
This is not a text to read.
This is simply a place to be.

About your words

You can enter any words you like, up to 500 characters. Poems, monologues, letters to someone, or meaningless strings of sound — anything is welcome.

The words you enter descend across the screen during slideshow playback. As they fall, they slowly come apart. Words become letters, letters become shapes without meaning, and eventually they dissolve into the cityscape.

This is not a feature for communicating something specific. It is an experience where words themselves simply exist.

With a subscription, you can download additional photo packs and sounds.

About onefingersnap by ZenMurmur

The photographs in Streetscape are monochrome cityscapes shot by the photographer onefingersnap. Through the technique of Intentional Camera Movement (ICM), the city is released from specific scenes — only the structure of light and shadow remains.

ZenMurmur is a project to create a quiet place between sound and awareness. This is the second work, following Good Night by ZenMurmur.

No data collection. No ads. No external communication. Your words exist only on your device.
