Pickle: Group Polls & Voting

Pickle is a group poll maker, voting app, and decision maker for the things your friends, family, or roommates decide again and again: where to eat, what to watch, whose turn it is. Anyone can add options, everyone gets one vote, the group gets a result, and Pickle keeps a record of every decision.

Skip the "I don't care, you pick" thread. Start a group, invite people with a link, an invite code, or a QR code, and put the question to a vote. Two people are enough, and the group stays for next time.

VOTE IN ONE TAP
Open a decision, type the options, and tap one to vote. The counts and the option in the lead update as votes come in, and everyone in the group sees who voted for what. Changed your mind? You can switch to another option until the vote closes. Options are free text, so you can vote on anything: a restaurant, a movie, a weekend plan, who does the dishes.

FRIENDS WITHOUT THE APP CAN VOTE TOO
Share the invite link in WhatsApp or whatever chat your group uses. A friend who doesn't have Pickle opens the link, types a name, joins the group, and votes in the browser, on an iPhone too. No account, no password.

VOTES THAT DON'T DRAG ON
When you open a decision, you can set a closing time: in an hour, tonight, or tomorrow night. When it passes, the vote closes on its own, and whoever opened it gets a notification. An open vote shows who it's still waiting for, with a Nudge button next to each name (once an hour per person). A vote also closes as soon as everyone has voted, and the person who opened it or the group owner can close it anytime.

THE RESULT GOES BACK TO THE CHAT
The option with the most votes wins. A tie is settled by a random draw, made once and saved, so the result never changes afterward. Share the result to your group chat as an image card with the winner and the votes, plus a link to the group's next vote. Anyone can open that link, so its preview never shows who voted for what.

ASK AGAIN
Friday dinner comes up every week? Tap "Ask again" to reopen the same question with the same options and no votes, or pick one of the group's earlier questions when you start a new decision.

WHO GETS THEIR WAY
A one-off poll is forgotten by Monday. In Pickle, every closed decision stays in the group, newest first, and next to each member you see how often they voted with the winning side and how many of their ideas won. No leaderboard, no badges, just two numbers next to each name. After a month, you'll know who really picks dinner.

YOUR GROUPS AT A GLANCE
The Your groups screen shows each group's open vote and how many have voted, marks the ones waiting for your vote, and shows the last result when nothing's open. A home screen widget shows the open vote and the option in the lead. When a group has nothing to decide, Pickle suggests a quick this-or-that warm-up question, and one tap turns it into a real vote with yours already in.

• Report or block someone from the members list; no one is told about a block

• "Delete my data from this app" in Settings takes your name off your votes and options, removes you from every group, and keeps your Zaparo ID

ADS AND PRIVACY
Pickle contains ads. They appear at the bottom of the Your groups screen and once in a group's list of past decisions, never on a vote or a result. The ads come from Google AdMob and from ZaparoAds, our own ad network. Where the law requires it, you choose how ads are personalized, and you can change that in Settings. There's nothing to buy: no in-app purchases and no subscription. Crash reports are sent so we can fix bugs. Pickle is for ages 13 and up.
