Lots of delicious recipes UPDATE: 12/13/24 Just got a message that Yummly is going away forever! This makes me so sad. I've been using it for 8 years (paid version), and I'm having trouble finding another app with the same features. Keep it going, and I'll change my rating back to 5 stars!

2024-10-23	Sa*****	The app doesn’t separate marketing and cooking notifications, which is really frustrating. Every notification leaves me guessing if it’s useful or just marketing spam. I doubt this was an oversight—it feels like a deliberate choice to push more ads. For a product meant to make cooking easier, this is a huge disappointment. It disrupts the whole experience.

2024-10-14	Te*****	Was not expecting the app to recommend recipes outside of my dietary preferences, I'm sure that wasn't what the app was designed to do... nevertheless.. I chose vegan for dietary preferences and no alcoholic beverages and received a ton of recommendations that had only one plant-based recipe plus a few cocktail recipes... tailored just for me.

2024-09-21	De*****	I have had Yummly for years using my Facebook login. I recently bought a new phone and when I attempted to login it says "feature unavailable: Facebook login is currently unavailable for this app". I have so many saved recipes that are now lost. I'm incredibly upset. And yes, I've deleted the app from Facebook in order to reset it, deleted the app and downloaded it again and tried going on the website. Same error message each time.

2024-09-14	Je*****	Great concept, unbelievably slow. Update: this app is absolutely garbage. They made it worse. Scheduler no longer works. Various buttons are buggy. Recipe lists stop loading after a few recipes. I paid for an annual subscription and now it's telling me I'm enjoying premium complimentary features - these features were part of the subscription when I started.

2024-09-12	De*****	It's great for discovering recipes, however suddenly today I was unable to access my personal recipes through the app. I was able to earlier this month. Now it takes me to a screen with a "Get Started" button and tapping the button doesn't do anything. I am able to access personal recipes on the site, though, but it's sad I'm not longer able to through the app

2024-09-06	Da*****	App used to be slow and crash often...now it doesn't even open at all. Absolutely worthless!!! Update...the app freezes, just trying to sign in. The website at least functions, but now the recipes no longer have a link to read to recipe directions. All you have is a list of ingredients. What has yummly become? A overly complicated shopping list?

2024-08-12	J *****	As if it wasn't bad enough that Yummly screwed up searching for recipes online, they had to make this terrible app. It's slow. It doesn't save things it says it's saved for you. And it isn't maintained properly: ask how many times I got screwed completely (paid for and bought the groceries) only to come back, click the link to read the instructions... and that page doesn't exist, or Martha Stewart took that recipe down who knows how long ago. Yummly doesn't. This app deserves 0 stars

2024-07-12	Kn*****	The thermometer works OK. A couple of issues are; the entire thermometer needs to be inserted. So your typical steak, pork chop, chicken part aren't thick enough to use this for. For thick cuts of meat it works great. The signal range is very short. My phone has to be within 20 feet of the base. The base needs to be within 5 feet of the grill or oven. Tha app is annoying as hell. I can't turn off notifications without making the thermometer updates break. The app is a battery drain when running.

2024-07-07	al*****	Cool idea but the thermometer is inaccurate unless fully in a dish. If even 1/4 is out of the dish it thinks chicken cooks in 5 minutes. You can't turn off notifications to use the thermometer either. So you either get all of the notifications with the obnoxious tone or you have to keep turning the thermometer on and off.
