User Reviews

Stream_Vision Android app users give mixed feedback. Some report it works well on certain devices (notably Helion XQ38F) and find it easy to use. However, the majority of recurring issues revolve around connectivity (unreliable WiFi pairing), lag and video freezing during recording, and general stability problems (crashes, device compatibility). Users also cite file management frustrations (inaccessible or missing videos, memory issues) and concerns about ongoing support for older Pulsar hardware. Overall, reliability and consistent connectivity are the main drawbacks needing attention.
Pros
  • Works well with Helion XQ38F monoculars
  • Easy to use / intuitive interface
  • Positive performance for some users (e.g., works great on certain devices)
  • Helpful for demonstrations or showing others how to use the device
Cons
  • Unstable WiFi connectivity / frequent disconnects
  • Lag and video freezing during recording / unreliable long recordings
  • Stability/compatibility issues on certain devices (e.g., not working on Samsung Galaxy)
  • File management and access problems (can't access or delete downloaded videos; memory issues)
  • Perceived lack of ongoing support or updates for older Pulsar devices

Terrible since the update, constantly lagging, not allowing you to share file. uninstalled and reinstated and now does not work at all

I have a Pulsar Axion XM30. Wifi connect is really flaky. It can be 1 metre away and won't connect. Multiple restarts sometimes helps. When connected, the lag makes it generally unworkable. We need it to record 30 minutes plus without failure. Instead, if it does work, it starts recording then the lag takes over within a minute or two and the video freezes. Pulsar have Stream Vision 2 which recognises the Axion XM30, but doesn't support it. Frustrating !
