Optionally, write one sentence: "What do you want future-you to remember about today?" That sentence becomes the recall hook months from now.

— MEMORIES COME BACK WHEN YOU'RE READY —
KioKu resurfaces memories on a spaced schedule based on their weight. But it doesn't just show you the photo. It shows you your own words first — and asks you to remember before revealing. This is active recall: the same mechanism used in spaced repetition learning. Retrieving a memory before re-exposure strengthens it more than passive review ever could.
