Yours-Truly: Meet Your Match

Dating apps are awful. We all know it. We all hate it. They've taught us to make snap judgments, keep our options open, and treat everyone we meet as temporary, and somewhere along the way, genuine connection became the exception rather than the point.

Yours-Truly is our way of providing another option - with genuine connection at the center of everything. Obviously, no application is perfect - but we've cooked up something that solves a lot of the big issues. Come join us and see what we fixed:

* Tired of getting catfished by folks that don't look like their profile pictures, are significantly younger or older than they claimed, or maybe they're just bots? On our application every single user is selfie and ID verified (no exceptions), no bots, no surprises, and no more wasted time!

* Overwhelmed by too many options, unbalanced gender rations (75% guys on the apps), too many messages or likes, and swipe fatigue? We've implemented gender ratio balancing which keeps the ratio even. We've also slowed down the selection process (intentionally limiting the likes you receive and the likes you can send). We even put a daily time limit on our application which forces users to be thoughtful with their time and take breaks to touch grass.

* Sick of getting creepy, inappropriate, or just painfully low-effort messages, or being stuck in a sea of half-completed profiles? All messages, pictures, video, and even audio is carefully moderated before ever being sent to another user (nothing NSFW get through our filters). Our application won't even show a profile to users until it's 100% complete. You can't just swipe to connect - instead you've got to craft a thoughtful message (with minimum character limits).

* Care for a more local approach to dating or just want to skip the small talk? We've got a "Meetcute" option that allows you to opt-in to finding your someone spontaneously in the real world, and the option of finding and sharing local events. We included a built-in "Plan a Date" feature that will help you share availability and even find a location that's nearby both users. Need more options? Our "Free Tonight" feature lets you connect quickly with other users who are available for a date tonight!

* Want to invite your friends along for the ride and have them play matchmaker for you? We've got that too! We built out a dedicated set of features that allows you to invite a friend to curate matches in your feed, vouch for how awesome you are, and even review your profile to give you feedback. This vouch system adds a whole extra layer of trust because you get to see what other people have to say about a potential match before you even meet them.
