User Reviews

Yoga 108 is praised for its clean, distraction-free design and strong focus on Sanskrit naming and pronunciation, supported by audio and pose pictures. It serves as an encyclopedia-like resource for poses and basic yoga philosophy (8 limbs), making it especially useful for beginners and practitioners alike. The main drawback cited is the absence of pose videos; users hope for video demonstrations in future updates.
Pros
  • Simple, clean interface with poses information, pictures, Sanskrit names, and pronunciation.
  • Audio pronunciation for Sanskrit names helps learners get the pronunciation right.
  • No bloat: concise, well-organized, encyclopedia-like collection of yoga poses.
  • Great for beginners and seasoned practitioners; complements practice and teaches the 8 limbs philosophy.
  • Useful translations and clear organization with top tabs for easy navigation.
Cons
  • Lack of video demonstrations for poses; users would like video tutorials.

Simple interface with information on poses with Sanskrit names and pronunciation. On top of that it also covers the 8 limbs of yoga and has some translations to make learning the Sanskrit for yoga easier. Zero bloat, perfect app.

I just installed this and it's exactly what I needed! I have trouble learning new languages and Sanskrit is no exception. This will make it easy for me to look up the Sanskrit names, how to pronounce and even the posture! Thanks Rajeev!
