"Precise Time Signal" is a timer app that provides a time signal every second, synchronized with Japan Standard Time, and sounds a click at freely configurable decimal second intervals.

You can check the passage of time using mechanical and electronic sounds without having to constantly look at your smartphone screen.

■ Japan Standard Time Mode
Synchronizes the time using NICT's NTP server and sounds a click at the boundary of each second.

*This app is not an official app provided or operated by NICT.

■ Free Interval Mode
You can set intervals from 0.100 seconds to 3600.000 seconds, with three decimal places.

Example Settings:
・1.000 seconds
・1.112 seconds
・0.500 seconds
・2.350 seconds

You can choose from the following two starting methods:

・From the moment the start button is pressed
・From the next exact second

■ 3 Types of Sounds
You can choose according to your purpose and preference.

• Mechanical Click
• High-pitched Electronic Sound
• Low-pitched Electronic Sound

■ Volume Adjustment
Links to the device's alarm volume.

Furthermore, you can adjust the volume and sound pressure within the app from 0 to 200%.

■ Screen Illuminates During Operation
When this setting is enabled, the screen will not automatically turn off while the timer is running.

■ Timing Information
You can check the next scheduled click time, number of beeps, elapsed time, delay information, etc.

【About Operation】

This app only operates while the screen is open.

The timer stops when you move to the home screen or another app, and will not automatically resume when you return to the app.

The actual timing of when you hear the sound may vary depending on the device, communication status, speaker, earphones, Bluetooth device, etc.

We do not guarantee the actual speaker output time or perfect acoustic synchronization.
