In Nightgate: Hold the Line, every day is your final chance to prepare before darkness arrives.
Expand your village, manage your resources, upgrade your buildings, and recruit an army capable of protecting the castle. Warriors, spearmen, mages, monks, and axemen offer distinct specializations and tactical roles. Assemble your squad before each run and adapt your strategy to the enemies ahead.
When night falls, your units must face increasingly dangerous waves of goblins, spiders, trolls, golems, and other creatures determined to break through your defenses. Strengthen your soldiers, take advantage of your buildings, and unleash powerful abilities at the right moment.
Open chests to collect unit fragments, unlock new fighters, and increase their star level. Every unit has its own rarity, equipment, and statistics.
At the end of each run, your Legacy Embers present a difficult choice: invest in permanent talents or summon new units to strengthen your collection.
