Why use PONMAN?

1. Fast and automated
With the rise of Bakong and KHQR mobile payments, most of your transactions are already tracked by your bank app. The problem is, Cambodia has no common ‘open banking data’ system, so you can only access your data by downloading statements from your bank app. Those statements come in a wide variety of formats, different with each bank.
Ponman can read all those statements automatically, without you having to enter any transaction manually. Ponman makes it very fast to get an overview of your financial situation.

2. Easy and simple
Statements are in pdf or excel formats. Neither of those were made for mobile viewing. Both are difficult to work with on your phone.
Ponman has a deliberately minimalist user interface, with few screens or menus, and a simple spreadsheet-like layout consisting of rows. It is very easy to learn and use.

3. Private and anonymous
Money is always a sensitive issue, and you don’t want anyone, person or company, to have access to your data.
Ponman requires no sign-up. It doesn’t know your name, email or phone number. Ponman is a phone-only app. All your financial data stays on your phone, just like the statements you have downloaded. Even if you lose your phone, Ponman data is encrypted and can’t be accessed. Ponman has no servers so you can use it offline (but your bank app will need a connection to download a statement). Ponman only needs a connection to ask Google Play Store if you are a subscriber. Ponman has no access to your bank app, it only reads statements you have downloaded from it.
