- Cryptographic engine based on VeraCrypt principles
- AES-256 with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA512 key derivation (up to 500,000 iterations)
- Header encrypted with AES-256-CBC and data streamed with AES-256-CTR

- Keys exist only in memory and are wiped when the container is closed
