AccessibilityService disclosure:
Vanisher uses Android AccessibilityService as part of its core functionality for app protection and panic-trigger protection. Accessibility access is required for Vanisher to work as intended because it powers the volume-button panic trigger and protected-app detection features.
Vanisher uses AccessibilityService to:
Detect the volume-button panic trigger sequence you configure
Detect when a protected app is opened
Show the protection or unlock screen for protected apps
Run the panic protection actions you enable inside the app
This accessibility access is used only for Vanisher’s security and protection features. It is not used for advertising, profiling, selling personal data, or unrelated monitoring. Vanisher does not use AccessibilityService to change device settings without your action, bypass Android privacy protections, or perform any deceptive behavior.
Additional permissions:
Vanisher may also request related permissions such as display over other apps and usage access to support protection screens and protected-app behavior. These permissions support the app’s security features and are explained in the app during setup.
