Review summary
Reviewers praise the app's beautiful stories, potential, and AI-driven character interactions, and some find it fast and intelligent. However, the most common complaint is the gem and token paywall, which charges for choices and chats and is seen as a money grab. Several users also say their choices don't matter, that Google sign-in fails, and that an invite code is required. Others report glitches and a lack of story categories.
Pros
- Stories are described as beautiful and enjoyable
- Reviewers see potential and an interesting concept
- Some users find the AI intelligent and the app fast
- Characters can build friendships and feel warm and engaging
Cons
- Currency paywall: gems, diamonds, or tokens are needed for choices, chats, and features, and free gems run out quickly
- Limited player agency: choices feel like an illusion and story decisions don't seem to matter
- Sign-in problems: Google login fails, and some users are asked for an invite code
- Pushy monetization, subscriptions, and ads, with some users calling it pay-to-win
- Glitches and missing features, such as no story category function
