ClassNote: Lecture to Notes AI

Class is over and your notes haven't started.
Leave the recorder on. When the lecture ends, the transcript, summary, outline, key concepts,
exam points, flashcards and quizzes are already waiting — all computed on your phone.
■ Leave the recorder on
It keeps writing with the screen off or another app in front. When class ends you get:
A three-sentence summary and an outline built from where the topic actually changes
The concepts the lecturer kept returning to, with their definition sentences
Definitions, formulas and worked examples in one list
The parts that look likely to be on the exam
A flashcard for every concept, plus multiple choice, true/false and fill-in-the-blank quizzes
■ Nothing is made up
Every sentence was actually said in the lecture — tap any line to jump to that moment.
Ask something the lecture does not answer and it says so instead of inventing one.
■ It catches "this will be on the exam"
It recognises emphasis — "important", "on the exam", "make sure you remember" — and puts
those moments at the top. Tap the star while recording to push one ahead of everything else.
■ Listen again
Tap a sentence to play it. 0.8x–2x, skip ten seconds, long-press to loop that stretch.
It reads your notes aloud too — revise on the bus without looking.
■ Memorising is handled too
Cards come from the concepts found in the lecture — you never build them by hand, and spaced
repetition brings back what you miss sooner and what you know less often.
■ Photograph the board
Snap the whiteboard and the text is read on-device into a note with summary, concepts and
cards. The original photo stays so you can check anything it misread.
■ Korean and English lectures
Each is analysed with the rules of its own language — sentence splitting, definitions and
emphasis cues differ. The app's screens follow your device language.
■ Lectures never leave this device
No account, no sign-in. Recordings, transcripts, notes and study history live only in this
app's private storage and are excluded from cloud backup.
For a backup you export one file yourself.
■ Who it is for
Students who miss the lecture while writing it down · people preparing for licensing or
certification exams · medicine, law and engineering students with a lot to memorise ·
anyone uneasy about uploading recordings to someone else's server.
■ Also inside
Note templates (Cornell, exam prep, meeting, reading) with pen and highlighter on top ·
import PDF, PPTX, DOCX and images · one search box across everything · a day-by-day plan
from your exam date · AI answers that cite where they came from.
■ Free and Pro
Recording, transcription, summaries, concepts, handwriting, templates and search are free.
Review cards and quizzes have a daily allowance that opens again the next day, and notes you
have already made are never locked. Pro opens unlimited review and quizzes, unlimited storage,
precise transcription and PDF export.
■ What it cannot do, up front
It cannot rephrase in words the lecturer never used — it selects sentences, it does not write them.
It cannot tell speakers apart; phone speech recognition gives no speaker labels.
There is no sync between devices, because notes are not kept on a server.
Old .ppt and .hwp cannot be read. Save them as PDF first.
List numbers such as "1." are often missed when reading photos.
■ Permissions
Microphone: to record the lecture.
Notifications: to show recording is in progress, even with the screen off.
Speech-to-text is done by the speech service on your phone. Download its offline language
data in device settings and it transcribes in airplane mode.
■ Common questions
Q. Does it work without internet?
A. Yes. Summaries, cards, quizzes and search are computed on the device. The network is used
only to fetch settings, download a model and check a subscription — never for lecture content.
